Welcome to Our School

Hello, families! We hope you have had a relaxing and enjoyable summer. The beginning of the school year is just around the corner, and we have some important information to share with you prior to the start of school, including:

Thank you for reviewing this information. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Immunizations We need a copy of your child's immunization record. The county requires all children to have a copy in their file. Please make arrangements now to obtain these if you do not have a copy at home.

School Uniforms All children attending Children's Montessori Center are required to wear the school colors on Monday through Thursday. Blues, Khakis, and Whites are the colors and any combination of these will work just fine. Typically, children will wear a blue polo style shirt with khaki colored pants or shorts. Please, no stripes, polka dots or other designs. Plain, solid colors are desired. We will have extra uniform clothing in school in case your child should come to school on a particular day in non-uniform clothing and will respectfully and kindly assist your child in changing. Fridays are non- uniform days and children may wear what they want but please refrain sending your child in clothing with inappropriate images or logos.

Snack Snack is offered twice a day to children. The school provides the snack (typically yogurt, cheese and crackers, fruit, vegetables, rice cakes--but no sugary treats). Therefore, you do not need to send snack with your child. If your child has special dietary needs (gluten-free, etc.), please inform us and we will purchase snacks that meet your child’s needs.

Much more information will come to you as school starts. Please let us know if you have additional questions. Otherwise, we are looking forward to seeing you at Back to School open house.

Thank you so much,
Jason and Camille

Children's Montessori Center was established in 2007. This year represents the 100th anniversary of Montessori Schools in America. We are proud to help celebrate this event by adding our fine school to the long list of others throughout the world. We have a simple goal of providing the children of North Dakota and Minnesota the most nurturing Montessori education available. Children's Montessori Center is a non-sectarian, non-discriminatory private school located in the peaceful community of Fargo, North Dakota. Our lead teachers hold degrees from four year Universities and also are Montessori Certified. We are approved by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction as well as the North Dakota Department of Human Services.

Currently, Children's Montessori Center is offering the programs listed below. All programs are multi-age because we believe that human beings can learn as much from their peers as they can from their teachers.

We are interested in having a full time Spanish teacher and also will be in need of a part time aide in the fall.  Please call if you would like to set up an interview with us.
